John Donovan, a River Edge native, turns 42 Sunday.
Donovan, the offensive coordinator for Penn State, was born Sept. 11, 1974.
In 2014, Donovan took over as offensive coordinator of the Nittany Lions after having the same title at Vanderbilt for three seasons. Donovan also had coaching stops at Villanova, Georgia Tech and Maryland.
He played his college ball for the John Hopkins Blue Jays.
